Let's Make Rosenrot Famous

Austin had the idea to get Rosenrot known and to get elder mats easier to hold
DOMO mat gathering events.
Its basically where we get all of Onyx to gather materials and we score them depending on the item
they gathered and how much of it they got, and the highest scores by the end of a certain time
period win.

Sounds easy enough.
Basic Idea done. =)

Problem lies in the rules and the prizes.
Among other things..

I'm posting this as a basic idea.
Anyone can add and post for more ideas and things like that

So I welcome all ideas. =)

(PS. We could use donations for prizes or time to help count and everything when we do this)

Here's the big picture.

1st, we announce the event of course.

When it starts Players have a predetermined amount of time (I think a week sounds good) to collect the event's selected material. we can give out prizes for "afk" collected mats, and farmed mats separately if we have the prizes. Depending on the prizes we can give out more to 2nd, 3rd, etc. If we dont get enough we'll have to give out less. I can have players mail to me in stacks of 100 and the last being w/e was leftover, tally them up, and post on the forums everyone's total. PAS the winners, wrapping up the event.

Open to any ideas.

I like that idea but lets make it elder mats only. The collection mats will cost money and people will expect more

We can have a minimum of 200 item entry if we want, but lets expand it to like 2-3 weeks then

If we expand it, we'll need more prizes. though.. i might have some.
